This scale LOW D is great for the person who wants a deeper tone for some "back yard" playing in a meditation style that does not have large hands for the bigger bore flutes.

Hard wood blocks may be changed before shipping , As I play test every flute before shipping and if need be apply a different block of same or great value wood.

Walnut wood is used for fine furniture, architectural woodwork, musical instruments, decorative panels, interior trim, and flooring. Large amounts are also used for veneer.
Its stability and shock resistance make it the wood of choice for gun stocks. for the NAF this wood provides a nice snap crisp sound ,
