Amazing figure also rare to find a Piece of Hickory w/o knots to turn a French pin and still be able to get another 7 inches for the S&P set.
Matching S/P set are about 3 1/2 inches tall are great for barbecues, breakfast nooks, kitchen counter next to where you do prep work fresh pepper there is nothing like it . also can be used for favorite herb mixes as well.

I start with about a 18-20 Inch inch 2x2+ blank turning the pin upwards of 4000 rpm
after sanding through several grits up to 400
I apply 3-4 coats of 100% pure tung oil Non Toxic cut with Citrus Solvent both are 100% direct food all natural with no Petroleum products used. Even mineral oil although "food safe" can cause Bacteria within the wood over time when mineral oil dries it is gone When Tung oil dries it leaves a cellular product that makes the wood semi water proof. After 3-4 coats over a week or so , I apply a 100% vegan butcher block finish made from NON petroleum products found in nature. when dry almost feels like a wax protecting the product even further. Oh they are Vegan safe also.
Okay you say I can get a set for 1/2 this price well is it finished with Mineral oil? so 2=3 uses later will be coating the pin every time you use it with oil, Is the wood real some I seen on here are made out of crushed rice stalks and glued under high pressure, what glues are Used ?
You pay for what you get, as far as Tariffs my shop is and always was a USA first shop meaning all products come from USA owned or made in USA. so this has no effect at this time on my products.
