Walnut /Cherry 22-24 inch pin center is about 2 inch round down to about 1 1/4 inch at ends the 3 piece pin was glued with 100% non toxic water proof glue, after 24 hours clamped I mount it on a lathe turning it by hand no CNC here. finished to 400 grit sand paper the 3-4 coats of 100% tung oil citrus solvent is applied this leaves a semi water proof finish deep inside the wood. unlike Mineral oils that when dry are gone. Tung oil finishes leaves you with longer protection less care . after all after a quick wipe down simply hang it up and your done no having to re oil the pin again. also my pins are real wood sourced from small wood harvesters dealt with for 14 years not some over seas company that grids rice stalks compresses it with some glue shapes it. We are not that person or country.
next I apply a 100% vegan safe butcher block finish when dry further protects the product
